The Department of Shipping and Marine Technology is a leading actor in maritime research and education. We conduct internationally competitive research in the maritime sector and have a research associated maritime academy who educates and strives to utilize our work for an international maritime market. The Department is situated in the expansive and dynamic area of Lindholmen, where we have one of Sweden's most extensive simulator centre for research and education in shipping.
